Nano

: Very small, One billionth part, 1/1,000,000,000;
: Small, Cheapest car of India by Tata Motors:

I remembered the news someone from Maharastra who received first Tata nano car could not find words and tears fell out from his eyes. Now after four months, we understood why he cried, probably he was shocked looking at the car and noise made by car. The Nano by Tata Motors is a cheapest car in India, Ratan Tata's dream to give Indian a cheapest car. The Nano was announced at the cost of INR 1,00,000. Two wheeler scooter and bikes are available at 50 to 60 thousand of rupees.
In fact, Nano, fully equipped car on road price is almost 2 lakhs of rupees and no Nano is available less than Rs. 1,35,000 inclusive of all taxes. The Nano's production unit's are in SEZ and SEZ have special benefits of excise duty and other taxes. Nano have 624 cc engine in back of the car and make the typical noise like 'old Bajaj Super' Model.Mostly the car are bought as a symbol of status all over the world. With the name of cheapest car Nano, there is no 'Symbol of status' left in that. It looks like someone is short of money and he has only a choice to buy a Nano. Nano are hard to find around the School and colleges as it has a cheap reputation. Actually, if you want to buy cheaper you will have choice to buy a second hand car, that will cost you much cheaper than the Nano and better performance car. Second hand small cars are available from Rs. 30.000 to 2,00,000 which is better range than Nano.

  1. Negative comments on Nano, I have never heard. But it is truth, as no one like to buy that car.
